About Me
Hello, my name is Jessica Thompson, and I am a student of Digital Media Productions at Sheffield Hallam University. I am 20 years old and live in a small town in Lincolnshire, but mostly in the great city of Sheffield. I have been interested in the media for a number of years now; ever since year 7 at secondary school! I specialise in graphic design, animation, web design and most of all, Photography. I have not yet worked for a media company, but I do have some experience working with local companies to design logos, websites and flyers for local clubs.
At college I studied Interactive Media, which introduced me to the key points in media design, as well as helping to develop my main skills as a designer. If I'm honest, I have no idea what it is I want to 'do' when I leave University, but seeing as I have knowledge with most widely used programs I feel I have a slight advantage when it comes to when I know what I'm going to do.
